Since the 1960’s, our family has been well rounded in the motorsports industry. Nyes owner, Glen McCreery, started the family bloodline of racers when he began street racing on brand new highways then made it out to dragstrips after having more seat time. After his time behind the wheel in street cars, Glen moved on to truck pulling. He passed that passion down to his son Marc, and has since passed that down to his children, Taylor and Olivia McCreery.
Glen’s other son, Pat, took the drag racing route. He began his racing career with late father in law Johnny Morris, and incorporated his knowledge on the dragstrip with Nyes Racing Engines today. He has since passed that passion down to his children, Mayce and Brayde McCreery. Mayce and Brayde started out in junior dragsters when they were 12 and 13 years old, and have carried that on to today, racing Top ET dragsters alongside their dad.

Our general manager, Pat McCreery, has been building engines since 9 years old. Every Nyes Guy in this building has a strong passion for this industry and cares about every product that leaves our door.
